Japanese Serenade dinner-concert (2017年8月4日) - this week

JAPANESE SERENADE
Not everyone has the opportunity to join the exodus from Tokyo which besets the capital at this time in August, every August, every year. We know that. And frankly, not everyone wants to join the long lines, endure the tangled traffic, and hope that everything goes well. There is of course another way to indulge yourself, beat the heat, and be completely free from the ticketing, turbulence, and turmoil of travel. Relax in cool comfort, enjoy a fine dinner, and listen to the delightful music of the Tokyo Sinfonia's Japanese Serenade at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan. Friday evening this week from six-thirty o’clock.
August 4th. Our maestro has chosen a charming selection of Japan’s lighter fare of classical selections. Executive chef Kawaguchi has chosen a summery selection of Japanese dishes to match. The cash bar is open throughout the evening, and the guests are always an awesome adventure in themselves. You can read all this below (except about the guests). Our Japanese Serenade will be another charmingly relaxing evening. And it’s cool. Invite a friend to join you. And, ahem, do it now.
